Impaired Credit Mortgages
What about a mortgage if you have an impaired credit
rating? Call us we can help!
If you have had a debt problem resulting in an adverse credit history, which could include: County Court Judgements (CCJ's), mortgage or rent
arrears, or bankruptcy you probably won’t qualify for a standard mortgage from a high street lender.
Equally if you are self-employed and don’t have 3 years audited accounts or have changed address many
times you could have difficulties.
In these circumstances you will need to seek a sub-prime lender to acquire a mortgage.
However because of the greater perceived risk by the lender the interest rates charged may be higher than
those on offer by high street lenders. On the positive side though, it does mean that you will be able
to buy your own home and providing you repay the mortgage as required by the lender after three years your
credit history will have benefited considerably.
Once you have re-established a good credit rating you will then be able to re-mortgage to a
prime lender and enjoy the benefits of discounted interest rate mortgages.
If you are in this situation, we can handle everything for you, from making the initial
application, through to solicitors, fees, insurances etc, taking the hassle away from you and obtaining the
best mortgage deal for your situation.
THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SECURING OTHER DEBTS AGAINST YOUR HOME. YOUR HOME MAY BE
REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE.
